Katy ISD is excited to launch the Water Operations Licensing Program, a two-semester Career & Technical Education opportunity in partnership with Inframark — a leading provider of water infrastructure and management services.

What You’ll Learn

Fall Semester: Classroom instruction on the essential role of clean water in public health, agriculture, animal science, and wildlife.

Spring Semester: Gain real-world experience through field internships — many of which are paid!

Career Opportunities

Graduates of this program are prepared for careers in:

• Water management & treatment
• Operations & maintenance
• Laboratory analysis
• Field services

Start your career right after high school with entry-level roles offering starting salaries around $43,600 per year. With experience and certification, you could earn up to $66,500 in just 5 years — and even advance into leadership roles with executive-level pay.
